The STBDM will have a deep understanding of EAS system technology, AM/RF/RFID loss prevention solutions, retailer merchandise protection priorities, and the source tagging business model/value proposition/ROI.
The majority, if not all, customer interactions are focused on the benefits and ROI of source tagging, source tagging pilot program development, and loss prevention optimization via source tagging.
Includes tactical and strategic activities, which will occur via phone, face to face meetings (in person and/or video call), and email.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to successfully align Sensormatic source tagging solutions with retailer loss prevention goals and priorities.
You will lead and negotiate multiple pursuits, negotiate mutually beneficial commercial agreements, and successfully engage with all levels of management (internally and externally).
Role will require clear, compelling communication and presentation abilities, internal collaboration and teamwork, and advanced organization and time management skills.
In this role, the chosen candidate will be expected to work independently, travel frequently and deliver source tagging revenue growth.
How you will do it I dentify (prospect), pursue and close new source tagging opportunities, grow the business Ensure annual source tagging revenue targets are achieved or exceeded Own, nurture and develop the relationship with retailers and OEM partners for the purpose of identifying new source tagging revenue opportunities Create and deliver professional, compelling presentations to prospects and overcome objections Negotiate mutually beneficial commercial agreements that adhere to Sensormatic requirements Use SFDC to create and maintain pipeline forecasts that adhere to Sensormatic processes Attend industry events, tradeshows, conferences to prospect for new business, travel required Individual contributor, no direct responsibility for leading others What we look for Required Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience 5
years of direct sales and business development experience Experience working within and across the retail industry vertical with a focus on loss prevention, operations, and merchandising Advanced level communicator comfortable working with all levels (internally and externally) Contract negotiation and administration Proficient in Salesforce and MS Office product suite Strong attention to detail, organized, focused on maintaining a high degree of productivity, efficiency, and accuracy Entrepreneurial attitude, agile, creative, and solutions-focused Ability to create professional, compelling sales presentations Ability to work independently and as part of a team within a matrix organization Up to 50% travel #LI-Onsite #NAOTHER Job Type:
