The RoleThe Senior Director, Corporate Finance - Corporate Real Estate & Corporate Affairs is a critical role for a seasoned Finance leader that will support the development of Walmart's new home office project and the broader Corporate Affairs organization.
A key aspect of this role requires building strong relationships with the senior leadership team, leading P&L transformation, supporting business development activities and general finance support.
Key Responsibilities Provide broad financial support to the Corporate Affairs organization, including Global Communications, Government Affairs, Social Responsibility, and Corporate Real Estate - Includes P&L and capital ownership associated with annual/long range planning, forecasting, and general business partner support.
Lead the finance team that supports the development of Walmart's new home office (Project Neo), Corporate Real Estate and Corporate Affairs.
Provide thought leadership and financial insights for senior leadership throughout the Neo lifecycle, including campus design, construction, operational planning, and occupancy/move-in.
Oversee a full range of Neo financial support, including capital budget development, annual/long-range planning, campus P&L transformation, business development initiatives.
Requires strong partnerships across finance, accounting, tax, and broader business teams.
Identify capital, expense and NPV savings for Neo through our More for Less initiative.
Optimize campus amenity strategies and P&L impact for our hotel, street front retail, fitness center, childcare and food/beverage programs.
Partner with CRE business leadership to develop and implement portfolio transformation strategies.
Generate excitement across the finance organization by providing Neo updates in town halls, AFDP & E3 events and interns groups.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field and 7 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 9 years' experience in accounting, finance, real estate finance, or related area.
MBA preferred.

years' experience in Finance, Planning, Business Management, or a related area 4
year of experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.

Experience working in Fortune 100 finance.
