General
Summary:
The Senior Manager of FP&A for Global Walmart will be based in Bentonville, Arkansas and is responsible for all financial control, analysis and support of their sales team including the development of the team's annual strategic and operating plans. The position will work to align the team's strategy and planning to Campbell's financial and strategic objectives. As well, they will be involved in developing and preparing annual volume/trade forecast on a monthly basis, assessing risks and opportunities, and proactively developing plans to minimize exposure. The Senior Manager also provides leadership, financial training and guidance to all persons on the team regarding customer profitability, utilization of financial measures and spending optimization. The Senior Manager sets the standards for leadership and has the fiduciary responsibility to safeguard the assets of the Campbell Soup Company.
The Senior Finance Manager is expected to play a key leadership role in leading the monthly forecasting process and supporting long-term contingency / opportunity planning. A strong General Manager mind-set and the ability to effectively partner with cross functional business partners is essential.
Primary
Responsibilities:

Planning and Analysis: Track and ensure delivery of Operating Plan commitments

BusinesManagement and Reporting: Ensure reporting and controls in place to monitor and project team business results

Strategic Business Partnering: Develop effective partnerships with Customer Business Managers

Fiduciary Control: Ensure policy compliance (Trade Manual & Sox) and adherence to financial controls

Training/Development: Orientation of direct reports and description of finance functions to other team hires.

Communication: Communicate with WHQ on volume, trade variances and short / long-term business outlook

Performance Measures: A scorecard will be developed to track the Team
In addition, internal audit reports, customer alliances, and team financial development will be determined for the Senior Manager's performance evaluation.
Minimum Requirements:

MBA or CPA, plus minimum 10
years of progressive financial experience (CPG industry preferred)

Proven track record leading and developing teams w/ increasing levels of impact.

Demonstrated superior analytical abilities and knowledge of internal audit, balance sheet management and profitability.

Demonstrated success working with and advising management of financial and business strategy.

Leverages a diversity of communication styles to achieve strong presence and move audience towards conclusions.

Demonstrates active listening skills and connects with audience/listener.
Working Conditions
This role supports the US Retail Global Walmart Team in Bentonville, Arkansas. There will be various travel requirements for customer planning sessions at World Headquarters (four to six weeks per year). There is also travel required to attend the annual US Sales meeting and various training events (one to two weeks per year).
