Job Title: Wal-Mart Account Manager
Basic Function
The position is responsible for the development of profitable business building strategies, exceeding volume goals, forecasting product needs, fostering strong account relationships and analyzing and identifying opportunities to insure successful retail performance and consistent growth.
Job Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills, detail orientated and collaboration with team to meet account expectations. Highly proficient in excel and power point. Applicant must have excellent analytical and business planning skills, be a strong strategic thinker, self-motivated and have a strong work ethic. Eagerness to learn and train for opportunity in other classes of trade within the business
Required Education and Experience:
4 year degree required with background of 5-7 years experience with major retailors
Sales Results and Profitability
Exceed net sales, profitability and retail sales goals for the area of responsibility.
Implement Kayser-Roth key initiatives and place new products as they relate to account specific opportunities.
Enable Kayser-Roth to meet profitability goals by managing account specific spend within the established budget limits, monitor T&E expenses and effectively tailor product assortments and forecasts to aid in inventory management.
Sales Strategy and Execution
Develop account specific growth strategies and/or category reviews incorporating assortment planning, forecasting, market place data and business analysis..
Analyze business sales and trends weekly/ monthly to continuously adjust plans, identify opportunity and execute insuring ongoing focus on goal attainment and maximized business.
Work closely with the retailer account planning teams to insure appropriate management of stock and and/or sales plans identifying product needs to support business plans.
Identify future business opportunities and product needs to facilitate continued account growth. Submit needs thru data gathering process.
Account Management
Analyze track and report weekly business trends and react to product needs and challenges.
Monitor orders and shipments daily/weekly to insure that account service level expectations are met and shipments are maximized.
Develop and maintain strong, effective work relationships with the various internal teams interfacing with business planning, marketing, retail analysis; design and merchandising teams.
Maintain strong relationships with retailer account team coordinating efforts with department planners, buyers, visual staff and management to insure a partnership focused on growth of Kayser-Roths business.
Forecasting and Product Development
Manage day to day functions of internal forecasts, coordinating with several cross functional areas to ensure successful set up and replenishment of products.
Communicate often and in a timely manner with business planning any proposed changes in the accounts assortment to minimize inventory liability.
Work closely with internal partners to understand logistical implications of changes and lead times required for all items.
Work with merchandising, PD and design team as the liaison between the retailers and Kayser-Roth to communicate account specific product trend information, product ideas and costing.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
