General
Summary:
The Customer Logistics Manager (CLM) is responsible for developing collaborative supply solutions with customers through their strong understanding of supply chain inventory, transportation, warehousing, project management and continuous improvement practices. They must match or exceed their customer's supply chain understanding to develop innovative operational solutions that drive mutual benefits. The CLM contributes to the attainment of Campbell's USA EBIT target by identifying and implementing supply chain initiatives with customers that result in reduced TDC or improved customer collaboration and service. This position is responsible for delivering on Campbell's promise to our customers relative to service basics. They also lead the collaborative logistics planning process with our customers on all supply chain programs and initiatives. They are responsible for the development of successful project plans to drive execution at the tactical and operational level within Campbell's and our customer's supply chain organizations. Using strong customer collaboration, negotiating and selling skills, this individual is accountable for the penetration at all levels of the customer's supply chain organization. Additionally, the CLM is responsible for educating and updating their Campbell's sales team on supply chain programs and policies. They are responsible for communication, implementation and compliance to Campbell's Supply Chain policies and programs with a select group of CPB customers. The individual evaluates customer ordering, product handling and invoice payment processes, and works on process and/or system improvements that result in improved service, productivity or reduced costs. This individual supports the Campbell Sales Teams by translating logistics savings into volume and share growth. This role is expected to sense and respond to key marketplace developments, trends, opportunities or threats and develop collaborative action plans to proactively address key customer initiatives.
Primary
Responsibilities:

Deliver Proactive Supply Chain Solutions to Customers and Channels through the development of robust customer supply chain sensing capabilities and collaboratively managed (internal and customer) project action plans

Identify and Achieve Service Excellence as Defined by our Customers

Provides supply chain expertise and insights to the Campbell's sales team

Leads Supply Chain Joint Business Planning processes with the Customer

Implement and manage Campbell's Supply Chain initiatives
Job Complexity:

Design customer supply chain solutions to inventory, transportation, distribution, etc. issues that drive mutual benefits

Quantify and communicate (both internally and externally) the financial value of Campbell's Supply Chain programs.

Manage successful execution of Customer promotional events through the coordination and communication between Customers Procurement and Logistics functions as well as Campbell's functional contacts in Field Sales, Demand Planning, Warehouse Operations, Transportation and Customer Service.

Communicate and coordinate emerging Supply Chain capabilities and technology between the Customer and Campbell's Supply Chain organization.

Identify opportunities to reduce cost and improve service across our customers and Campbell's supply chain

Educate the cross functional sales team on the P&L impact of logistics

Develop immediate and long-term corrective action plans in co-operation with Campbell's Supply Chain to identified service issues and failure.

Owns direct customer contact with customer supply chain personnel

Support Director of SC Integration with the implementation of identified key Supply Chain initiatives

Monitor and communicate key Supply Chain performance measurements as defined by on-going development of customer specific targets and measures

Monitor and administer Campbell's Reverse Logistics programs
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Logistics, Operations Management, Business or related field required.

Minimum 7
years of experience in supply chain or collaborative logistics.

Consumer products industry experience preferred.

Highly skilled project management and collaborative alignment capabilities preferred.

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office. MS Access skills desired.

Willingness to aggressively and professionally confront challenging situations.

Ability to work effectively in multiple cross functional teams.

Managerial presence, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, with a strong potential to be promoted to higher levels of responsibility.

Mastery of business analytics and problem solving skills.

Ability to draw insights from data and develop collaborative solutions to supply chain challenges.

10-15% travel required.
