Title: Vice President, Sales - Wal-Mart Reports to: SVP, Sales-United States Location: Bentonville, Arkansas The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for driving the growth agenda and executing effective strategies to facilitate profitable sales growth at Wal-Mart. He/she is responsible for attracting, developing, and retaining sales talent. He/she will develop strong cross-functional relationships, including Customer & Trade Marketing, Innovation, Brand/Product Management, Supply Chain, and Operations. Key Responsibilities: Building and executing business plansOverseeing the development of annual strategic business plansLeading the execution of key initiatives and growth agenda itemsLeading and managing the Wal-Mart Sales team with a focus on development of the team members by establishing stretch goals and actionable individual development plansCollaboration with key partners in Customer & Trade Marketing on customer planning initiativesManaging key customer relationships and leading high level interfaces. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred.15+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of driving growth.10+ years senior sales management experience.Must have experience managing a business of at least $500M in revenue.Must have managed field sales teams.Must have worked in a leadership capacity, preferably serving as a member of a sales executive leadership team.Entrepreneurial attitude and familiarity with the strategies and tactics needed to develop and grow new business opportunities.Committed to continuous improvement in managing all aspects of the business.Advanced leadership and management skills with a proven track record of delegating and directing to meet and exceed results.Focused on providing ongoing formal and informal training to drive career development of direct reports.Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be proactive in identifying issues and recommending solutions. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
