General Responsibilities:
The Customer Business Specialist will work closely with the respective Sales Director to grow existing accounts, build collaborative relationships across all levels of the accounts, and to improve sales execution. The Customer Business Specialist develops persuasive data driven selling stories that drive customer decisions. He/ she is responsible for item set up, account promotional evaluations & CDF tracking, new item analysis/trackers, Customer CLR/JBP coordination/preparation & fulfilling various customer requests. This position is a developmental role for future sales position.
Examples of Typical Activities:
Developing strong working relationship/knowledge with account buyers, planners and other customer departments.
Analyzing past performance and suggest future promotional orders to support retail activities.
Product Item set up and item maintenance.
Perform & coordinate visual management setup - endcap signage & execution/forms
Working cross-functionally with various departments to resolve issues such as price deviations, promotional item availability, & communication with account.
Coordinate all Customer Line Reviews & Joint Business Presentation efforts internally and externally
Evaluate account level analysis - Retail Trends, POS, Store Checks and competitive landscapes
Fulfill various customer requests such as samples, special projects, regional analysis etc
Utilize key sales & retail analysis to build sales presentations Travel as required to meet with Evenflo stakeholders, Miamisburg, OH.
Analyze market data and assist in developing strategic plans to grow account revenue and improve profitability
Assist in promotional evaluations
Required Experience
BS Degree preferred and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales support or analytical support roles
Consumer Products Goods category experience required
Required Technical Competencies
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Strong Microsoft Excel - spread sheet and data base applications
Knowledge of Customer POS Software systems
Demonstrated ability to manage data flow and monitor information
Excellent verbal, writing and presentation communication skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
