Shift:
Day Shift Hours are 8am-5pm M-F Overview:
This position will Receive and/or Ship, per procedures/specifications within the standard labor hours.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to follow instructions and procedures and be able to function in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
1.
Accurately completes system transactions for material movement.
2.
Maintains current training to operate pallet jack.
3.
Prints and applies shipping labels.
4.
Operates electronic scale equipment (if required).
5.
Ensures FIFO stock rotation.
6.
Maintains order, cleanliness and safe working conditions in work area.
7.
Cross trains in other areas.
8.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED 2 years experience working in a repair environment and 1 year as a material handler Good math aptitude Good computer aptitude Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time Ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds Ability to read, understand and follow written work instructions Good verbal and written communication skills Good organizational skills(We are not looking for forklift drivers or warehouse workers.
Every Handler interfaces with a computer through their shift in order to complete their tasks.
