As a Senior Agile Business Analyst, you'll be leading or participating in multiple concurrent projects within or across business domains. Your main responsibilities include:
Applying subject matter expertise (domain knowledge) to support Agile initiatives/projects. Domain areas include retail, merchandising, logistics, replenishment, finance, store operations, transportation, human resources, ecommerce, business intelligence and data analytics.
Eliciting, analyzing, and clearly articulating ideas and viewpoints from key stakeholders (business and technical) to your team and to senior management (and vice versa) for effective decision making.
Collaborating with the delivery team to align and prioritize solution(s) delivery with business needs and architectural blueprints.
Applying good judgment in balancing and advocating for the use of agile delivery concepts and business analysis tools and techniques.
Utilizing business analysis best practices to solve complex problems.
Ensuring solution recommendations and solution approaches (custom or 3rd party) align with business and technical needs and constraints.
Holding yourself and others accountable for performing quality business analysis, delivering value to the team and demonstrating measurable results.
Mentoring junior team members to mature the practices within the organization and improve outcomes of projects.
There is no such a thing as a "typical day" for a Senior Agile Business Analyst so you will be involved various activities in any given day.
You may spend time with end users and partner with business product owners to understand their broader goals and objectives as well as develop your subject matter expertise.You'll be looking for opportunities to solve business problems and identifying features that need to be prioritized. As you become a trusted advisor with your agile team and business partners, you will utilize your strategic analysis skills to influence your global stakeholders to define the minimum viable product. You will lead and contribute to the analysis for solution approaches for custom or 3rd party solutions. Your analysis will be used to help plan for and allocate work across teams and to select and implement the right solution for the business. On a continual basis, you will also collaborate with business partners to validate the solution meets their needs.
As a leader on your team, you'll find resolutions to issues, monitor progress, measure value and manage Customer and Supplier relationships. You will also adapt to the changing priorities and competing demands. You will mentor others and help them grow their business analysis skills, often leading by example.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field and 2 years experience in information technology or related field
within the past 7 years OR 3 years experience in information technology or related field within the past 7 years OR Master's degree Information
Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
3 years experience in a business analysis role eliciting and documenting software requirements.
3 years experience using SAP.
3 years logistics experience.
3 years replenishment experience.
3 years finance experience.
3 years store operations experience.
3 years transportation experience.
3 years human resources experience.
3 years e-commerce experience.
3 years business intelligence (BI) experience.
3 years data analytics experience.
3 years experience with HP Quality Center or related defect tracking tool.
3 years experience using Agile methodology.
3 years experience using Iterative methodology.
1 year experience using Pro Vision.
1 year experience using basic functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, and email software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook).
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
