Sr. Manager, Accounts Payable - Projects - Global Shared Services

Position Description
The position is responsible for leading operations and project for accounts payable GFR department. Associate in this position will be responsible to perform job responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary.
Manages multiple projects for an assigned area of ownership within Global Shared Services by delineating project activities; establishing deliverables, milestones, and timelines; identifying resources needed for project completion; managing activities through completion; approving in-country design change requests; designing localized accounting solutions using standard protocol; regularly delivering presentations, updates, white papers, and other project documentation to stakeholders (for example, program leadership, in-country and regional leadership, internal business partners); ensuring required security design; managing project budgets by performing financial analyses to identify trends; identifying business needs; leading all project management initiatives within a specified GSS pillar; and working directly with senior leaders to align resources in order to support growing and changing business needs.
Leads transformation efforts across multiple projects within a specified GSS pillar by reviewing existing processes; understanding integration touchpoints (for example, system and workflow communication stages), master data, and management information requirements; standardizing processes across the Walmart organization based on industry best-practices; effectively using benchmarking and strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats (SWOT) analysis techniques; aligning recommended processes with partner solutions (for example, SAP); sharing recommended processes with and facilitating approval from internal stakeholders (for example, in-country and regional leadership, internal and external auditors); conducting tests of process design and structure (for example, unit, integration, stress, and user-acceptance testing); and implementing data conversion processes.
Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business related field and 5 years' experience in accounting, finance, or business related field OR 7 years' experience in accounting, finance, or business related field.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field.
Project Management certification.
5 years' supervisory experience.
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
