The BLP-Internship is a challenging 10- to 12-week program for students who are looking to get a critical jumpstart in one of 10 different careers (Credit, Data Analytics, Finance, HR, Internal Audit, IT, Marketing, Enterprise Operations, Risk Management, Sales & Relationship Management). Based in locations across the country, an internship with Synchrony Financial will introduce you to some of the brightest minds in business, giving you the opportunity work alongside and learn from experienced professionals who will challenge you to develop your skills in an accelerated work environment.
During your internship experience, you'll engage with your peers across tracks, travel to participate in a comprehensive orientation, engage our leadership during our Summer Series and represent our company at volunteer projects in the communities where we live and work.

Sales & Relationship Management BLP-Internship:
This internship is for students who are looking to get a jump start on a career in sales. These assignments offer an array of projects to gain valuable hands-on experience. The internship will be spent working side by side with sales & relationship management professionals who you will shadow and apply your learnings to your own projects. Internships in the sales track could include the following:
Salesforce effectiveness projects
Rollout and adoption of
Field Sales analysis
Development of client engagement toolkits
Sales growth initiatives
Exposure to these real business cases will accelerate your career and develop your skills in a cutting edge dynamic environment.

Must be an undergraduate student enrolled in an accredited college or university and have completed your sophomore or junior year pursuing Bachelors in Finance, Economics, Business Management, Marketing or related field
Excellent academic record ? Minimum overall 3.0 GPA or higher
Available for a minimum of 10-12 consecutive weeks
Must be able to work minimum of 40 hour week

Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the selection process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
If currently a Synchrony Financial Employee, you must have been in your current position for at least 6 months (AP) or 24 months (level 8 or greater), have at least a "consistently meets expectations" performance rating and have the approval of your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR to apply if you don't meet the time-in-job or performance requirement

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
