Consulting Staff Practice Director

As a member of the Consulting organization, you are responsible for ensuring that a quality, integrated software solution is delivered in a timely manner, at budget, and to our client s satisfaction. This involves working closely with the client to understand and manage their expectations, as well as working closely with Oracle and third-party vendors to ensure delivery.
Serves in a second line practice management role. Plans, organizes, directs and controls the work activities and staff of a Service Line consulting practice, while also maintaining individual utilization goals. Ensures effective pursuit and completion of profitable consulting engagements while selling Oracle capabilities and assuring reference ability.
Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences or Business or equivalent. Balance of advanced technical skills, functional knowledge, client consultative skills and operational management experience. Has 5-8 years of experience in senior consulting/engagement lead assignments. Ability to develop relationships at the executive level. Willing to travel regionally with some national/international travel.

This Consulting Staff Director position reviews, recommends,and advises the NA Apps Consulting team on project and portfolio specificreviews.
The North Americas Applications Consulting ProjectManagement Office (NAAC PMO) s Quality Management Group (QMG) is a fielddelivery work team responsible for the primary ownership and coordination ofall Oracle Consulting project quality management functions. The QMG charter isto improve the quality of all Oracle consulting Projects and Programs andprovide assurance to Oracle stakeholders of the project status, risks andquality (conformance and performance) of Oracle project delivery. TheQMG provides assistance in improving delivery performance, including asnecessary hands-on assistance and offers recommendations to reduce projectrisks and minimize Oracle s exposure.
As a member of the QMG team, this position sresponsibilities include
Conduct timely and quality project reviewsaccording to current NAAC PMO QMG project review processes, procedures anddeliverables, and perform necessary actions required to complete the qualityreview process (schedule, conduct, report, follow up and close the review).
Maintain accurate project tracking informationand associated Project Review action updates. This may include otherOperational reporting to be fulfilled in accordance with current or future QMGpractices.
Provide input for the refinement of QMG and NAACPMO review processes and materials via participating/co-leading in key QMGinitiatives.
Provide timely coordination and follow-up withNAAC project managers, portfolio leadership, SME groups and other NAPMOreviewers or remediation resources as needed.
Collect information on and develop reportingaround metrics, trends or other needed project or project review relatedinformation as needed.
Meet or exceed all individual and QMG groupperformance metrics, quotas and targets.
Regularly interacts across functional areas with all levelsof management to ensure unit objectives are met. Balance of advanced technicalskills, functional knowledge, client consultative skills and operationalmanagement experience. Has 5-8 years of experience in senior consulting/engagementlead assignments. Ability to develop relationships at the executive level.Willing to travel within NA.
Demonstrated delivery experience together with competency increating and managing an overall project plan (including budget, structure,schedule, and staffing needs) for medium to large-scale Oracle engagements.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
