Senior Manager II - Product Development

Position Description
Develops and drives product development (PD) strategies for assigned categories
Drives financial performance for Product Development (PD) for assigned categories
Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects
Ensures business needs are being met
Oversees product development (PD) for assigned categories through the entire product life cycle
Participates in the development of the supplier matrix for assigned categories
Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates.
The Senior Manager II of Product Development is a new role to and one that gives the associate a great opportunity to be part of a growing team that is forging a new path and process as to how we drive private label growth within the home division. This role will be home office, Bentonville based, but will report into PD at, San Bruno. This person should have a deep understanding of how to develop product from concept to execution and what is required to manage and hit timelines within a product life cycle. Ideally this person would have experience in hard-lines as well as soft-lines and be very familiar with materials, construction and product development vernacular. This person needs to be very process and detail oriented. This person will be instrumental in developing strong processes, partnerships and integration with our store counterparts to gain alignment and leverage resources. This person needs to be extremely collaborative with strong people and influencing skills. This role may require the associate to be able to travel often. We are looking for someone with a start-up and agile thinking mentality that approaches ambiguity and change with a positive attitude and tireless approach.
Minimum Qualifications
1 year supervisory experience or leading a project team.
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design, or related field and 3 years experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related field OR 5 years experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related field.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
1 year experience with Microsoft Office Suite (for example, Excel, PowerPoint).
2 years experience with direct import processes.
3 years experience with creative based design software (for example, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).
3 years of supervisory experience.
4 years experience in manufacturing, product development, packaging, or design.
4 years experience with cross-functional project management.
4 years experience with retail financial metrics (for example, profit and loss (P&L), cost components).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
