_Job Summary_
This position is responsible for providing in-depth research and analysis of market, category, sales, and inventory conditions to determine potential increased productivity and profitability.
In addition, this role gathers data on competitors/consumer preferences and buying habits and develops and completes promotional planning, execution, and analysis of distribution gaps.
This position will work with sales management throughout the regions and corporate groups in building analysis to understand business trends.
_Essential Job Duties_
+ Works with syndicated market data, including but not limited to Nielsen and IRI.
+ Performs analysis, budgeting and planning activities for the account team.
+ Performs ad-hoc analysis and reporting to the sales, retailer and internal teams to guide decision-making; collects, analyzes, evaluates, and reports data to increase general sales productivity.
+ Collects sales trends and records and evaluates performance calculated against sales budgets.
+ Presents results, analysis and potential solutions to the account team, retailer, and internal support teams.
+ Manages and analyzes the account budget trade spend/net sales productivity and makes recommendations for improvement.
+ Manages the promotional contracts submitted to the category managers.
+ Assists with planning sessions and the assortment review process meetings by sharing analysis and recommending strategies to drive sales.
+ Analyzes pricing (i.e. in-house vs. competitor pricing) and recommends strategy.
+ Creates selling stories and selling sheets for internal and external business needs and opportunities.
+ Tracks promotional execution; analyzes promotional execution performance and recommends action plans for improvement.
+ Analyzes and tracks distribution gaps and works with region/sales/account teams to recommend, implement, and track solutions for improvement.
+ Participates in projects and performs other duties as assigned.
_Scope of Responsibility_
Minimal supervision; this position will be a thought leader influencing company strategy.
This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

_and Skill Requirements_
+ Strategic planning, market development and key account experience.
+ Strong technical and problem solving skills; results and action oriented
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong listening skills; ability to interact with senior executives.
+ Excellent presentation and creativity skills; ability to prepare presentations, interpret data, and provide causal theories will be key elements from daily activities.Must be able to present and perform with an executive presence.
+ Effective management of confidential data.
+ Proven relationship building skills and capable of interacting with buyers and internal senior leaders.
+ Broad understanding of P&L Financial Analysis, trade spending, and category management training.
_Education and Experience_
Bachelorâ s degree in Business, Finance, and/or Computer Science and a minimum of 5 years of related experience in sales and/or operations as a sales leader, key account manager or sales analyst require; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Masterâ s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or Business preferred.
Must be an expert at Retail Link, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Nielsen (Nitro) and Spectra is preferred; Shiloh experience beneficial.
_Travel Required_
Travel required 10% of the time.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
