National Retail Accounts Manager

Position Summary
This is a National Account Manager assignment that starts in Retail but transitions quickly back into Sales on the Walmart Account Team. An initial assignment in retail will allow for the candidate to build up knowledge of our brands, customers, and cross-functional organization. This experience will position and prepare the candidate for a smooth transition into a sales leadership position on the Walmart team.
This position directs all retail sales and execution for assigned accounts and has three key business drivers:
?Effective customer team collaboration - brings together the goals of the business with the capabilities of the retail operations platform to drive sales and increase Energizer's visibility in-store.
?Effective 3rd Party Partnership ? Direction, Communication and Management (Process, Standards, Performance Improvement Plans)
?Personal Selling Responsibility for designated senior operators and enhancing the selling platform across the DRT (Dedicated Retail Team)

Specific Accountabilities
This person will be accountable to developing skills to the point where they are transferable to other commercial organization positions (i.e. National Account Sales Manager). Short term, this person will work closely with the Customer Teams and Sales Agency Partners and will need to be adept with working in a Matrix Organization. The ideal candidate should be able to quickly excel in 3 areas:
?Learn the business strategy and develop the appropriate retail operations platform (closed loop performance and feedback) that builds trust and improves business results.
?Effectively develop retail standards, processes, priorities including ?Speed to Insights? securing alignment with 3rd Party Partner
?Effectiveness with making senior level store operations calls (RVP Level) that improves business positions and processes.
The position requires both strategic and tactical skills that lead to capturing new opportunities or problem solving. Consultative Selling skills will enable relationships with senior level operators. This role has a clear leadership connection to Advantage Sales & Marketing (Note: Advantage is the national Sales Agency partner). The Energizer Dedicated Retail Team will look for direction from this individual.
Required Skills and Experience
?Education: Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline
?Experience:
5+ Industry, 2 years mid-tier customer experience or and trade marketing
?Functional Experience
Experience leading internal initiatives and working across organization to find solutions and improve processes.
?Experience with data analysis tools
?Proven record of thought leadership, influence and business impact is essential.
?Outstanding problem solving skills
?Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills. Great ability to present persuasively to all levels of management or customers.
?Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills and Experience
?CPG background preferred
?Retail experience
Working Relationships & Environment
?Reports to Senior Manager, National Retail Accounts.
?Key relationships internally will include Sales, Category, and Marketing teams.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
