TASC Design Consultant II - Opera PMS / OXI

Intermediate implementation professional who analyzes customer needs, configures the solution, and installs it at the customer site.
Ensure the solution meets specifications and functions per customer specific operational work flow for multiple concepts, users, and service models. Resolve any gaps in functionality. Train the staff on the use of the new solution, and take the site live on the system after everything has been configured and everyone is trained. Ensure a smooth transition to the new system. Answer operational and application questions and consult the customer in a manner to transfer ownership of the system to the customer. After "go-live", provide technical support to the customer.
2-5 years of overall experience in relevant roles. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

TASC Design Consultants must have several years of Hotel and Project Management experience and a very strong aptitude for technology and troubleshooting. TASC Design Consultants do not have direct reports but rather focus on Project Life Cycles including project requirements and scoping, lab testing, documentation, piloting and training.
Hospitality industry experience required
Project Management experience preferred
Strong knowledge of Opera Property Management Systems and Products
Advanced understanding with 5 years experience of Opera PMS, OXI, Hotel Stationary and Hotel Reporting
Advanced troubleshooting and escalation skills with new products from development
Highly organized individual with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Able to clearly communicate with Consulting leadership, Management and Corporate Customers
Possess a results-oriented, can do attitude with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Conducts themselves as a leader, visionary, and product expert in regards to the specific project at hand
Conduct calls with various internal departments to identify project scope, requirements, automation possibilities and utility requirements/enhancements
Maintains communication with project stakeholders and provides routine project updates
Sets accurate expectations and deadlines for projects with Project Stakeholders
Creates project plans based on scope and customer needs
Creates documentation based on project requirements
Setup, conduct and provide results for testing scenarios in line with project requirements
Responsible for Pilot sites including documentation review, training, and documentation/escalation of issues
Ensures proper handoff of project requirements and knowledge to the assigned PM for rollout and billing
Assist Technicians with prerequisites and ensures the customer and the technicians fully understand the project scope and Implementation process
Monitors projects and updates documentation or alters processes as needed to meet customer expectations
Serves as a point of escalation for resources and escalates issues when necessary
Manages assigned projects from start to finish with little supervision
Provide project history and archival of past projects for future reference
Willing to travel up to 10%

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
