Manages people who lead internal projects/programs which focus on the delivery of internal products or administrative systems. These projects need a distinct beginning and an end.
Manages employees who perform project management duties which involving cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of internal products or administrative systems. Oversees plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets. Monitors programs/projects from initiation through delivery and interfaces with internal customers or department personnel. Organizes project activities and interdepartmental meetings. Ensures communication facilitates completion of the program/project on schedule and within budget constraints.
Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills and analytical skills BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically seven years of project management or related experience needed.

This role will be a critical enabler of the comprehensive talentprograms (Talent Management Framework) across Oracle NAS-OD. The position willpartner closely with Oracle Sales & Partner Academy (OSPA), Oracle TalentDevelopment (OTD), Human Resources (HR), and people managers. The TalentPrograms leader will focus on the following primary responsibilities:Professional Development for the OD Sales Force:
Assessment ofFunctional Capabilities (demonstrable & measurable sales skills, knowledge& behaviors leading to actions): In tight partnership with OSPA completeassessments (via manager scorecard knowledge tests results assessment)complete ongoing assessments for OD core roles (SDR, Sales Rep-Mirror, Sales Rep-Prime,Manager, Senior Leader).
Professionaldevelopment framework building & activation (experiences, relationships,& training): Build and activate development plans to systematically raisefunctional capabilities for core roles.
Measurement:Track, reward & recognize functional capability development by individualand team.
CommunityManagement: Build and facilitate core role communities for peer learning(Senior Rep Council; Senior SDR Council; Class Of; Management, etc.) CareerPlanning & Activation for the OD Sales Force:
Career PlanModel: Build and activate a comprehensive & formalized career progressionmodel for core roles in partnership with management. This will includefacilitation of readiness board assessments & management for job level orcore job changes. Readiness will be demonstrated by performance results,functional capabilities, & assessed potential. Management ExcellencePrograms for all OD Management:
ManagementFundamentals: In partnership with OSPA (Bob England) continually improve anddrive SMART Training for first & second line management. Leverage OTD(Lynne Andia) for development and activation of leadership capability(coaching, performance appraisals, etc.) programs to methodically improvemanagement fundamentals.
Rewards & Recognition Programs for the entire OD organization:
Drive EmployeeEngagement: Maintain a pulse on hub engagement through formal (surveys) andinformal (relationships) means.
OD-SpecificRewards & Recognition Programs: Build and facilitate OD-specific rewards& recognition programs to drive engagement and organizational performance.
Preferred Requirements: Formal Requirements: Directs and ensures theimplementation of operational policies through subordinate managers. Interactsinternally and externally with executive management with ability to negotiatedifficult matters to influence policy. Functional expertise and broad companyknowledge. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strongcommunication skills and analytical skills. BS or MS degree or equivalentexperience relevant to functional area. Eight or more years of projectmanagement or related experience needed. Location: The position must be basedin a NAA hub location: Redwood Shores, CA; Santa Monica, CA; Minneapolis, MN;Austin, TX; or Burlington, MA.
