Job Description
This position will bethe leader of the Network Operations team within the Oracle Cloud for IndustryNetworking department and report to the Sr. Manager of Network Operations. ThisManager role is responsible for leading a team of engineers that handles theprovisioning of standard service requests, triage/response to network relatedincidents/problems, and implementation of complex changes in the Oracle Cloudfor Industry data center networks. These environments consist primarily ofCisco Nexus routers and switches, Cisco ASA firewalls, and F5 load balancers.
Essential Job Functions:
- Lead a global team ofTier2 and Tier3 network engineers responsible for the maintenance of OracleCloud for Industry data center networks around the world.
- Develop and maintainincident and problem management processes
- Manage the day to daytasks of running the OCI Network Support department
- Implement andtroubleshoot F5 server load balancing
- Troubleshoot networkcommunication problems as they relate to routing and switching
- Correlate detectednetwork events to identify potential problems or root causes
- Assist applicationand system owners in troubleshooting problematic network dependent applications
- Serve as a functionalescalation point for Network Engineers
- Participate inprojects that involve existing network infrastructure as required
- Participate in aformal incident rapid response process for high priority incidents
- Collaborate with theteam to insure that an incident's underlying problems are managed and resolved
- Implement networkchange in the context of incident resolution, problem management and servicerequests
- Be aware of andfollow existing network management change procedures
- Work outside ofnormal business hours when required (scheduled maintenance, outage response,last minute urgent requests)
- Assist with networkdocumentation tasks
Job Requirements:
8 years of hands-on experience in managingnetwork infrastructure in a large enterprise or service provider environment.
Experience with designing, implementing, andsupporting large-scale networks, network routing, switches, andinternet-related networking and security technologies. Experience provisioning single andmulti-tenant cloud environments.
Strong team leadership while developing andmanaging business processes and workflow, standardizing documentation, andimproving project reporting.
May be required to be hands on in theconfiguration, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment of equipment.
6 years of progressive experience in networkingand network security, Including firewalls, VPN's, enterprise routing and L3-7switching
3 years experience configuring and maintainingload balancers, preferably F5
3 years in enterprise network operations
2 years in firewall technologies, preferablyCisco ASA
2 years in MPLS network design
2 years in BGP and OSPF
2 years working with Cisco switches, preferablyNexus
Expert level network documentation skillsincluding master skills with MS Visio
Strong oral and written skills- PS..1 ->- PS..2 ->

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
