Sr. Manager I, Engineering - International Logistics

Position Description
Analyzes and interprets information for one or more initiative work streams to improve business efficiency
Assumes duties of the Senior Manager, International Logistics in the absence of the Senior Manager, International Logistics
Develops and directs one or more work streams of a cross-functional project to achieve desired results
Develops tools that support decision making and business cases
Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects
Ensures business needs are being met
Helps drive change
Identifies and influences stakeholders
Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Transportation or related field AND 3 years experience in engineering, logistics, mathematics, computer science, supply chain, transportation or related field OR 5 years experience in engineering, logistics, mathematics, computer science, supply chain, transportation or related field OR Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Transportation or related field and 1 year experience in engineering, logistics, mathematics, computer science, supply chain, transportation or related field.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
1 year experience leading project teams to solve problems.
1 year of leading teams or supervisory experience.
2 year experience working on international projects.
2 years Wal-Mart experience leading project teams in engineering, information systems, distribution, logistics, replenishment, store operations, supply chain, transportation, strategy innovations, or international.
2 years experience in retail.
2 years experience managing multiple projects.
3 years experience in Labor Management and Engineered Standards
2 years experience using Wal-Mart systems (for example, Clarity, REMEDY).
2 years leading projects in engineering, strategy or innovations fields.
Business proficiency in a second language (for example, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
