Manages the development, execution, and maintenance of regulatory and industry obligations to determine impact of Medicaid and Medicare by evaluating operational procedures and aligning them with compliance requirements; drafting, reviewing, and updating compliance and other documentation in relation to billing compliance; building tools to measure and evaluate compliance with regulatory requirements; providing expertise and guidance to the billing team on regulatory requirements, policies, systems, and procedures; and researching and providing recommendations to team for communicating to operations related to compliance, pending legislative and regulatory changes.
Analyzing business objectives and customer needs; conducting research and providing recommendations to the Billing Team; developing, communicating, building support, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices; gaining approval on board agenda items, proposed and adopted policy statements, and frequently asked questions published by the boards; and communicating board agenda items, proposed or adopted policy statements, and frequently asked questions that impact field managers.
Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.
Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
