Service Receptionist - Ford Bentonville

Job Description
Position Summary:
Responsible for answering all incoming telephone calls and satisfying customer inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer all incoming service department telephone calls according to company policies and good telephone etiquette.
Determine if the inquiry can be handled by the receptionist and satisfy the customer?s reason for calling if possible.
Direct telephone calls to the appropriate parties as necessary. NOTE: Do not direct a call to anyone if they are occupied with a customer or engaged on the telephone.
Take written messages for occupied personnel and notify them as soon as possible regarding pending messages.
Assist the service sales staff in contacting customers whose vehicles have been completed.
Make a copy of all the applicable production scheduling forms to assist in directing calls to the appropriate service sales representatives.
Perform various clerical jobs as assigned by the service manager.
Maintain a high standard of personal grooming, hygiene and dress. Follows the company dress code.
Maintains a clean and neat work area.
Follows federal, state and local law as well as company policy about safeguarding all information.
Reports on time to work and follows schedule that is given. Calls supervisor if he/she cannot be at work on time.
Keeps current with annual HR training along with any other training that might be required for this position.
Follows all company policies and procedures. Notifies supervisor of any illegal activity.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
