Development and implementation of business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for a product/service or vertical market. Manages a staff of managers.
As a manager in product marketing, you will be responsible for leading the development of company marketing specifications for specific product(s) or product line(s). Manage marketing activities within the context of the overall corporate plan to meet company objectives. Monitor the development of business plans and business results of e-marketing. Manage lifecycles and product positioning in the market place. Identify customer needs, oversee market research, and monitor the market trends/competitive landscape. Implement and monitor advertising campaigns. Act as a technical advisor for specific product(s). Initiate and foster relationships with development, sales, and other groups to develop new products or enhance functionality of existing product(s) or product line(s). Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.
Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations. Practical internet knowledge. Software business management experience. 7 years technical marketing experience. Previous development experience or developer marketing experience desired. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Successful track record in management. BA/BS degree. MBA preferred.

_Key Objectives:_
The Director of Marketing Operations will lead all aspects of marketing operations for the Converged Infrastructure Marketing team, including investment strategy, content operations, budget management, metrics and reporting and project management for key internal and external initiatives. The Director will work closely with the leadership team as well Corporate and Field Marketing to ensure that the CI marketing group is the best run marketing team within Oracle and within our industry.
_Specific Responsibilities:_
Work across the CI and Field Marketing organizations to streamline effective marketing planning and execution including sales plays, sales enablement, demand generation and brand awareness
Define metrics and KPIs that support the overall business strategy and Marketing s contribution to the business
Work across the organization to set targets and track performance on monthly basis
Provide regular reporting to relevant teams on progress against targets
Run performance management system across the organization
Work with SVP and leadership team on overall investment strategy and budget allocations
Sales asset management processes and governance
Drive customer advocacy programs and develop and maintain a portfolio of customer wins and references
Provide on-going budget support to marketing organization
Drive rhythm of the business including compliance with all company-wide processes including compliance, talent, planning and strategy
Project manage key internal and external initiatives as needed

_Detailed Job Description:_
Reporting to the VP of Demand Operations, the Director of Marketing Operations is a key role within the Converged Infrastructure marketing team. Working with the leadership team, this individual will be responsible for maximizing the overall operational effectiveness of marketing. As the leader on a team of six, the Director will ensure clear, effective processes in place for planning and execution of all marketing programs. He/she will work with leadership to develop investment strategy aligned to overall business goals. Define and implement metrics to ensure visibility into effectiveness of marketing investments. Drive a cadence of regular performance reviews. Assist in root-cause analysis and action plan development. Work with Finance and Accounting to manage budgets on and on-going basis. And will provide project management on key internal and external initiatives.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
