Customer Care & Billing CC&B Director of Professional Services

This director position is responsible for managing business operations and resources within area of responsibility including people management and sales enablement. May also be responsible for project oversight of staff augmentation projects.
Accountable for fulfilling business goals, meeting budgets, maintaining strategic direction, and ensuring quality of delivery by consultants within their area of responsibility. Develops plans to successfully implement operational policies and achieve business plan/strategic objectives. Typically manages multiple first-line managers and/or senior level individual contributors. Is accountable for managing a significant revenue stream and customer base. Ensures managers and teams adheres to appropriate methodologies and consistently utilizes Oracle best practices to accomplish assigned work product. Provides strategic leadership in staffing complex engagements. Resolves staffing issue in complex engagements. Serves as advisor or project sponsor role for moderately complex engagements as necessary.
10 years of experience relevant to this position including 5 years of consulting experience. Direct line management experience including people, customer relationship and financial management preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the practice focus. Ability to travel as needed.

About this Role:
The Delivery Director within our Americas Services organization will be focused on Customer Technology solutions - initially related to Oracle's Customer Care & Billing, Meter Data Management, Smart Grid Gateway, the remaining Lodestar suite, and Service Order Management applications. Will be Responsible for solution thought leadership, people management, enablement, utilization, and delivery excellence.
Position is responsible for enhancing and evolving business development and delivery tools/collateral, including methodology, estimating models and a menu of professional service offerings. Also creates and implements operational policies and processes to drive utilization, team enablement, key skill/performer retention, deliverable & solution reusability, consistent results, and continuous improvement of delivery quality.
Responsible for cultivating Oracle cross-functional communications through the creation and maintenance of strategic relationships with management in other UGBU & non-UGBU organizations which may include peer Delivery teams world-wide, Product Development, Product Management, Product Support, License Pre Sales, Professional Services Sales, Offshore/Global Services, and non-UGBU Consulting Services.
Partner with peers to develop multi product solutions and delivery methodology. Provide solution oversight and escalation support on active engagements, with highest focus on multi product, initial implementation following significant product release, Oracle prime engagements, and tier 1 clients.
Required/relevant skills:
People & organization management experience including direct reports a must
Consulting background, preferably with a Consulting Firm that specializes in Implementing Oracle's Utilities suite of products
Experience with many successful COTS, full life-cycle implementations preferably with hands on project management or team lead experience
Extensive experience with Oracle Customer Care and Billing or competing CIS solutions
Experience with Oracle or competing meter solutions (eg headend vendors or competing MDM products)
Consulting and/or direct employment in Utility industry

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
