Senior Manager, Global Internal Controls

Position Description
Responsible for improving and strengthening the Company's global internal control environment.
Manages Global Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)/Internal Controls for Financial Reporting (ICFR) program.
Monitors the performance of external and internal audits for internal control items.
Identifies and designs recommendations for remediation and works with the business to implement process improvements to ensure compliance, drive sustainability and continuously improve the Company's internal controls.
Communicates internal control impacts, issues, and strategic direction to team and to company stakeholders.
Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects across several functions and markets by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning related to internal controls and compliance reporting.
Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.
Understands and has a working knowledge of Information Technology General Controls (ITGC) and can communicate concepts clearly to process owners.
Responsible for leading global special projects.
Proactively communicates with business stakeholders at higher levels within the Company for status, program-level feedback and reporting purposes.
Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field and 3 years experience in Finance (for example, external reporting, consolidation, close, reconcilitations), project management, or related field.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Professional certification in finance and/or project management (for example, CPA, CIA, CISA, PMP).
5 years' experience in public accounting performing auditing work in a national or international accounting firm with fortune 500 clients.
2 years of experience leading a SOX/ICFR/Audit function or team.
2 years of experience using internal control systems (e.g. SAP Global Risk and Controls).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
