Position Description
Analyzes environmental factors (for example, economic, operational) for strategic business units to create solutions for human resource issues by assessing key opportunities; conducting gap analyses; determining the strategic approach; collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to assess needs and success measurement; developing cross-functional assessments and business cases for action; and presenting key opportunities and assessments to senior executives for review and approval.
Consults with Sam's Club field and support divisions on diversity and inclusion programs by collaborating with cross-functional teams (for example, Office of Diversity) on the development of programs and initiatives; recommending programs and initiatives; ensuring alignment of programs and initiatives with business and corporate strategies; developing high-level project plans to achieve goals; integrating and prioritizing work streams, timelines, tasks, and team assignments; ensuring testing of initiatives; and managing communication of diversity programs.
Develops and oversees the implementation of the Human Resources (HR) financial planning process by aligning processes with the company's financial processes and strategies; building relationships with internal partners (for example, HR leadership, Finance, Walmart Leverage); providing guidance on budget development; determining project and program return on investment (ROI); and identifying risks, recommending corrective actions, and implementing action plans.
Drives the implementation and execution of the Sam's Club Human Resources (HR) strategy by gathering and analyzing data (for example, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analysis, analyzing comparative data); assessing the climate for change in Sam's Club field and support divisions; designing and implementing processes, controls, and governance to ensure strategy alignment across the company; collaborating with internal teams (for example, HR Information Systems, Walmart Technology, Finance) to drive the integration of technical and system functions for strategy development and reporting; developing and coordinating communication strategies, change management principles, and implementation strategies; advising and influencing HR leadership on goal direction, development, and implementation; and developing performance controls and policies to ensure project outcomes reflect company commitments.
Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Project or Program Management, or related field AND 2 years of experience in human resource management, business administration, project or program management, or related field OR 4 years of experience in business administration, human resource management, project or program management, or related field
2 years of experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office tools (for example, Word, Excel)
2 years of experience leading cross-functional teams
2 years of experience in consulting, innovations, or strategy development
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Project or Program Management, or related field AND 4 years of experience in human resource management, business administration, project or program management, or related field OR 6 years of experience in business administration, human resource management, project or program management, or related field
Project Management Certification (for example, PMP, PMI)
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
