Manager, Legal Entity Accounting - Global Shared Services

Position Description
Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in legal entity and inter-company accounting and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans
Assists in the preparation of financials, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial audits
Communicates accounting results
Ensures Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance
Ensures accuracy of financial statement closing processes
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
Prepares financial information in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates
Supports the implementation of business solutions
Serves as a subject matter expert for legal entity and inter-company accounting
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and 1 year experience in accounting, finance, or related field OR 5 years experience in accounting, finance, or related field.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
2 years experience with inter-company accounting
Experience with hedge and derivative accounting
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Able to read, write, and speak both English and Spanish languages
3 years experience using SAP or other enterprise financial reporting system
3 years experience using basic functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software (for example, Word, Excel, Access)
1 year experience preparing and delivering presentations
3 years experience with United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP)
Experience with IFRS
2 years experience reviewing reconciliations and journal entries
Supervisory experience
Certified Management Accountant (CMA)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
