Negotiator - Vendor Management-ISD

Position Description
Develops and negotiates vendor contracts
Drives and executes category sourcing strategies
Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects
Enables strategy execution for third-party vendor contracts to create value
Ensures business needs are being met
Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates
Proven successful contract negotiation experience
SME in Contract negoitations
Knowledge or Experience with Cloud and Data Technologies
Experience Negotiating contracts worth $15 Million and above
Knowledge or Experience with Federal Trade Regulations
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field and 4 years' experience in information technology, vendor
management, negotiation or related field within the past 10 years OR 6 years' experience in information technology, vendor management,
negotiation or related field within the past 10 years.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Juris Doctor or related field.
10 years' experience in information technology or related field.
3 years' contracting experience
2 years' negotiation experience.
5 years sourcing experience.
NCMA certification (for example, CPCM, CFCM).
Sourcing experience in the IT Category (for example, Services, Software, Software as a Service and Hardware).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
