Systems Technician I Cable &Telecom Services-Realty

Position Description
Acts and collaborates as a member of the Cable and Telecommunications Services Team
Assists a Technician Level III or senior operations analyst
Completes work assignments and priorities
Complies with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations and guidelines
Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
Controls company costs
Implements a scope of work when requested
Maintains cable and telecommunication systems for company facilities
Maintains work area
Monitors cabling stock levels
Performs major and minor preventive maintenance and repairs on network, cabling, telephone and satellite systems
Provides required paperwork
Minimum Qualifications
Valid driver's license or eligibility to obtain a valid driver's license.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
1 year experience using basic functionality of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
2 years experience with CAT 6A/6E COAX and fiber optic cabling or related experience.
Bicsi Information Technology Systems (ITS) Installer 1 Certification or related cabling installation certification.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
