Vice President, Sales & Client Development (L14)

Job Description:
Role Summary/Purpose:
The role will be responsible for building and executing business strategies for CareCredit's Vision and Audiology Specialty Markets ( $1B portfolio) that increase CareCredit usage and future growth. The role will work closely with the Specialty GM to drive strategies that foster growth and profitability in the Vision and Audiology markets. The role will cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and will work cross functionally to execute initiatives and strategies related to Specialty markets. Preferred office location is either Costa Mesa, CA or Chicago, IL.
Essential Responsibilities:
Develop and execute growth strategies and action plans for CareCredit's Vision and Audiology Specialty Markets.
Responsible for P&L/Revenue targets by developing and executing pricing strategies in Vision and Audiology markets.
Develop and strengthen long term client relationships in conjunction with Specialty Markets growth strategies.
Assure all contractual obligations are being met.
Identify customer CTQ's and lead cross functional business teams to deliver; Monitor progress to goals & pro-actively identify areas of opportunity.
Provide value added analysis & reporting to evaluate and drive growth usage.
Lead corporate complaints to resolution and communicate to HQ.
Participate in monthly operating & portfolio performance reviews.
Assess key portfolio performance metrics to determine optimal growth strategies. Utilize data to contribute to the overall growth strategy.
Partner with Underwriting/Finance to facilitate pricing reviews and negotiate contract renewals, amendments and CRP approvals when necessary
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or 8 years+ of equivalent work experience in the Financial Services field.
Minimum of 6 years of client management experience in the Financial Services field, including leading teams.
Minimum of 5 years project management experience.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in delivering formal communications to either senior business leaders or key external business partners.
Ability to travel up to 50% including overnight and some weekend travel
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the selection process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
If currently a Synchrony Financial Employee, you must have been in your current position for at least 6 months (AP) or 24 months (level 8 or greater), have at least a "consistently meets expectations" performance rating and have the approval of your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR to apply if you don't meet the time-in-job or performance requirement

Desired Characteristics:
Demonstrated prior experience involving contract negotiations, competitive pricing, business planning and P&L management.

Proven ability to work remotely and independently.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
