Project Manager I, Fuel Operations - Sams Club (Friday-Monday Shift)

Position Description
Friday through Monday In-Office Shift + On-Call Friday through Sunday Evenings
Supports Fuel Operations area by responding to requests for ad hoc reports; compiling and analyzing data; and reviewing solution outcomes.
Provides support to field associates by responding to issues (for example, system issues, regulatory issues, merchandising issues); identifying training needs; and providing assistance with operational process improvements.
Manages the implementation of projects for Sam's Club by serving as subject matter expert (SME) on compliance risk; providing guidance on proposed projects; and developing and implementing scorecards and other tracking mechanisms.
Designs project plans as assigned by working with cross-functional groups; reviewing project requests for system changes and overall process changes; and recommending appropriate operational processes.
Demonstrates up-to-date expertise for Fuel Operations and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
Researches and analyzes standards, trends, and initiatives by reviewing available information; identifying areas that impact corporate strategies; and developing best practice standards.
Identifies and develops solutions and evaluates overall impact of operational initiatives by identifying and initiating process improvement opportunities; and ensuring appropriate merchandising, operations, information systems and supplier groups are engaged with and support solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field OR 1 year experience in retail or related field
Additional Preferred Qualifications
1 year project management experience
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
