Solutions Development Manager

Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

As part of the Oracle Optimized Solutions team, you will play an integral role in the solutions development team, working closely with Solution Managers, Systems Engineering, testing and integration teams as well as Oracle Field Sales, partners and customers. This position will involve defining and creating solutions, developing technical proof points, and creating compelling materials to promote the merits of the solution to the Oracle customer base through multiple communications channels. Additional activities will include solution installation, troubleshooting, and testing for scalability and reliability.
The Oracle Optimized Solutions team develops a complete portfolio of solutions built on the Cloud, Oracle Best-of-Breed and Engineered Systems product offerings. Developed in close collaboration with Oracle Systems and Software engineering, these solutions directly address customer challenges with Oracle application and infrastructure deployment and operation.
Members of the Solution team have diverse backgrounds and typically include a combination of experience in the following disciplines: Engineering, Technical Marketing, Product Marketing, Product Management, and Sales. This wide range of competencies allows the team to develop a broad and deep understanding of customer requirements and market trends that drive optimal solution development practices.

The team also takes an active role in other high visibility and strategic projects for Oracle Systems Engineering including Oracle OpenWorld, Collaborate (the largest Oracle user group convention), Oracle days, and other Technical forums where there is a need to demonstrate the potential customer impact of a fully tuned and tested end-to-end Oracle solution architecture.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
